i love fiona apple, jeff buckley, elliot smith and phoebe bridgers, etc. and i’ve been writing songs my entire life trying to learn/adopt that writing style. i go to school for it now but i cant seem to harness the rawness and intimacy and eloquence they have in their lyrics. pls send lyricwriting tips or ur favorite lyrics or even poetry/prose you love. im so desperate to create lyrics that move people
