The dimensions film logo is so good. Those intros during the early 2000s had some interesting graphics. Also the lighting in early 2000s films was incredible. Super obsessed with these from the first resident evil film.
I think people are far too obsessed with beyonce, drake etc bring “house” back when it never went away. House has always had its mainstream moments. Furthermore these artists are way behind on trend. The kids in clubs right now love faster 140 BPM techno and trance. People need to recognize the next thing on this trend cycle is that stripped down and or “minimal” house gonna make a comebackIm currently obsessed with french filter house at the moment. Its great uplifting music with a pretty good long history. One of my fav new producers Ejeca just dropped a french filter house homage album. Its excellent. This song is incredible and will surely blow up even more. Everything single element is absolute club classic. I love the sampling of early armada records “Sound De-zign - happiness” to constant shout out to the dolls. Perfect mixture of trance and speed garage. Eliza is def an artist to keep an eye on. London is always constantly outdoing itself when it comes to fresh new dance music. Diaspora there is strong. It would be criminal to homogenize their scene with the rest of europe. It just hits different.
I think this new trend of people pretending to be catholic or whatever is dumb. You can tell who didnt grow up in a religious environment vs those who grew up in some insane godless upper middle class household where one parent was barely present cause they was working so hard to make six figures a year. Religion isn’t some aesthetic for clout, but rather a personal set of beliefs to keep oneself balanced.
I think shes a genius. Literally one of the most talented people i know. Never interacted with someone who understands art so intuitively. Shes like the oracle from the matrix, just raw research based practice photography that is consistently putting out some of the best work. A huge inspiration.
I’m a big fan of european “urban” crime dramas. Theyre great and you see a side of europe thats interpreted negatively in media due to the rise of far right populism in europe. One of my favs is “snabba cash”. Takes place in the hoods of stockholm and shows you what really goes in the populations of immigrants from north africa and middle asia. Pretty cool series with an even cooler soundtrack showcasing alot of swedish drill music. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snabba_Cash_(TV_series)
