DANNY BROWN

Danny Brown is a legendary Detroit-born, now Austin-based rapper. My taste in music, and especially hip-hop, was forever changed after a friend in high school put me on to Danny Brown’s XXX. The experimental production, insane flow, and off-the-wall yet vulnerable lyrics blew my mind, and this admiration only deepened with later records like 2016's Atrocity Exhibition and 2023's Scaring The Hoes, as well as iconic verses on Freddie Gibbs' "High" and A$AP Rocky's "1Train." Back in November, Danny released a new album titled Quaranta before setting out on a US tour, and over the last few months he’s been hanging with Perfectly Imperfect homies Frost Children and Jane Remover…hopefully that means more new music is on the horizon.
