Andrew DeYoung is a director and writer based in Los Angeles and New York. You’ve likely seen his work – he’s built an impressive portfolio with directorial credits on acclaimed series such as PEN15, High Fidelity, Shrill, Would It Kill You to Laugh?, and Our Flag Means Death. His debut feature film, Friendship, which he both wrote and directed and stars Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd, had its theatrical release last month. Perfectly Imperfect’s Tyler tells me it’s the most fun he’s had in a theater in a long time… the audience buzzed with excitement at appearances by Perfectly Imperfect alumni such as Connor O’Malley, Carmen Christopher, and Ivy Wolk (catch it in theaters now!). Lucky for us, Andrew’s here to tell us what he’s been into.
