learning to make an expert iced matcha latte had long been on my list, and i cracked the code about two years ago. the catch is, getting good matcha powder and working with water at the right temperature!
i whisk my matcha with a little bit of homemade vanilla syrup or local honey and water that’s 176 degrees Fahrenheit, gradually adding in a little more water at a time. once i have about a shot’s worth, i pour over ice and top with the milk of my choice. if i’m feeling extra domestic, i might even make my own almond or cashew milk!
