i am finding myself rediscovering my love of little practical crafts, especially as a means to visually assert my queerness in a very intentional and circular-fashion way that manages to almost completely evade rainbow capitalism wherever possible. lately i’ve been doing collaged mint tins with my friends which have been super super fun for stashing little trinkets in and personalizing for different purposes, and i’m looking into making more linocut patches out of scrap fabric with some of the old ink and rubber i have left for my backpack. it has been so therapeutic and brought me so so much joy as i’ve explored it more these past few months, and i’m dying to get more little skills in my arsenal! does anyone have any suggestions on other low-cost, low skill barrier things i can take up as a busy uni student just looking to stay cute and sane? (which aren’t crocheting or sewing or knitting cause my ass cannot)
