this year I'm gonna make myself feel special on my bday instead of placing unrealistic expectations on friends/family to provide that for me. my 30th is on the 17th but I'm living with my parents in my hometown where I only have them, my sisters, and a couple of random friends near me. it's been a hard year for my career (got laid off last year and had to move home, leaving my community in texas behind). on the 15th I'm gonna have a little picnic in the park with my family. but since my bday is officially on a monday (and I'm unemployed with a free schedule), I decided I'm gonna take myself out to make the day feel special. what are some fun (budget friendly) outings I can do for my actual day to make myself feel loved and special?
