Our parents are the hardest generation to get gifts for, they're extremely particular and have lived a whole life so they kinda already have everything they need at this point. What are y'all getting your parents? For a personal anecdote: My father loves coffee. But only his Chock Full o'Nuts. Idk if yall are aware of what Chock Full o'Nuts is, but it's a vile creation, pretty sure it's like half coffee half wood chip dust (no offence if you're on the CFo'N train). I've tried getting him nice beans, nice coffee supplies, etc in the past but they go unused over his beloved Chock Full o'Nuts and Mr Coffee. I'm not trying to yuck his yum, but it's a conundrum that I've noticed amongst that generation in particular - they like their specific things and only like doing them in a specific way. And introducing any variance to that, even if it'll make life better, is too much to handle and will not be embraced. So this year, I'm absolutely stumped.
