I've always loved reading sci-fi. I had an idea for a book about a year ago and have been saving ideas/scrap ever since. Recently, something tipped and now I want to give it a spin. I currently work as a marketing writer, I dabble in essays, and I've tried poetry, but nothing scratches the itch like I think this project would. I've just avoided starting for one reason or another. Imposter syndrome blah blah... Anyway! I'm going to do it and put my new typewriter to use in the process. Any advice?
