One of the best out. I’ve been obsessed with this guy for a minute and I know a lot of people feel similarly. It’s rare to see someone be a terrific dancer and make great music. He used to wear lots of Aeropostale and preppy mall brands, but after a trip to New York he seems to be embracing a more skater vibe with his outfits. Been enjoying this guy's music a lot recently. His song Seasons recently blew up on TikTok and kinda gave him his big break. I had the honor of meeting him when I helped my friends produce a show for him and got to photograph him at said show (see pic below). He walked in and was so sweet to everyone helping out. It was so refreshing seeing someone so authentic in the music scene, given that his opener was lowk a douchebag... that's a story for later. ANYWAYS really recommend listening to his songs if you're into Imogen Heap, Blood Orange, or kinda electronic sound. Some of my favs are Seasons, Pretend Friend, and Say what you mean.

my younger brother is obsessed with him and for the longest time it was all that he listened to and I didn’t get it. to be fair his early stuff can be a bit rough, but he’s only improved as an artist over the years. his lyrics are also increasingly comprehendible which helps. I took my brother to a concert of his a while back and the energy was insane. now I can appreciate how hype his music is and its uniqueness in the rap world, def the best of the rage type stuff that’s big right now. linked my fav song of his rn, I think it’s the best example of his new era with less repetitive production, actual hooks and structure, and decent lyrics

A very talented artist from New Zealand. I met Beach Boy back in 2013 and since then it has been amazing to watch him grow. He’s still super low key but his product is getting better and better with age and I feel any day now someone that is in some sort of position to elevate his talent more is about to come. But in the meantime I love it that he’s underground, he’s doing his thing! It’s hard to find original good content with fuck all views these days haha here is one of his new videos below and I believe that his new album will be out mid July which I can’t wait for. BEACH BOY!!! Turn that shit up and share it with ya neighbors. Oh yeah he also produces, masters and edits all his work. Unreal!

My top song of the year on Spotify. Over the summer I fell in love with this album and listened to it top to bottom nearly every day. Thrilliam Angels manages to combine so many sonic elements that I love into one cohesive moment that always feels cool. A trend leader not a follower.

Basically, costume makers around the world will custom make you a pair of specialty shoes designed to look like horse hooves. I’ve been mulling over a pair for years. Ideally, I would wear them out under a pair of pants, convincing strangers I was some half-satyr satan servant that got lost downtown. You can keep the ASICS, I wanna look like I'm from hell!
