Part of my tidying project was rough because I'm not allowed to put holes in my apartment. Command strips is usually the go-to answer, but I never knew that beyond the hooks and picture hanging velcro, there are other dope products that they make. Few weeks ago, I found myself scrolling through about every single product page that they had and it was the most satisfying shopping high that I've gotten in a while. The biggest game changer for me was the toothbrush holder, dryer holder, and hooks for my clothes. Freeing up space by sticking them on the wall has to be a top 3 best feeling for me.

cable management is OUT. let those bad boys run wild. let them run across your walls, cluster inconveniently on the floor, dangle from your tv. let them get tangled in a tote bag by the couch over years and years, until you eventually need to fish that one cable out, & you experience that special brand of frustration again: how could I have let myself do this? and then, when you finally do claw that one cable free: a feeling of having ultimately Won in the battle of choosing chaos over order.

I’ve never been to Disney as a kid and as I grew older I always felt like I was too old for it. I spontaneously tagged along with my family the day before they left and I think that was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m a huge fan of Star Wars and Avatar, and even as an adult I think I had the best week of my life and I felt like a kid again. I legitimately had real tears of joy on some of the rides. It’s never too late!

While everyone is raving about their trendy nonstick pans, I’m here to bring the spotlight back to cast iron cookware. There’s a huge stigma around how hard it is to take care of cast irons, but it’s really not bad! You just gotta keep using it, and over time, it basically becomes nonstick. This article has sent off a tangent, and now I am a proud owner of a well-seasoned cast iron pan and griddle.

Antique shops have a special place in my heart because it reminds me of my childhood road trips. When I was little, I always thought antique shops were just useless junk. As I grew older, I’ve learned to appreciate the “junk” a bit more. Browsing through the aisles, they kind of feel like a time machine. My top things to look out for are vintage cameras, dutch ovens, and vintage porcelain.
