If you're like me, and have a 2-second long attention span, this board game is it. It's a pretty simple game to pick up. It's basically connect 4, but with a few twists and you can team up with friends. The best part about this board game is that you can mess up the other teams, so there's some trash-talking involved, so that's right up my alley. Paired with some alcohol, it's a really great time.

My friends have this game called telestration that is fun. It is more fun if you play with people who are bad at drawing fast. You basically draw a prompt and then pass it to the person next to you and they write down what they think the drawing is. Then they pass it and the next person draws their guessed word. And it keeps going until it gets back to the original person and they read and present the results. I forgot if there are more rules than that. I also like the classics scrabble and yahtzee.

This is my favorite game. It’s best for 2 or more players but sometimes I play it alone because I am independent like that and too competitive for my own good. You deal out cards and look for various sets. That’s all. It’s amazing.

I heard this game on podcasts and have had fun playing it! Takes two people. To start, you each count down 3, 2, 1 and then say any word you want. It’s key for you both to say them simultaneously. On the next turn, you each count down again and say a word that somehow relates to both words from the previous round. Keep going until you both say the same word! I linked an example

I’ve never been to Disney as a kid and as I grew older I always felt like I was too old for it. I spontaneously tagged along with my family the day before they left and I think that was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m a huge fan of Star Wars and Avatar, and even as an adult I think I had the best week of my life and I felt like a kid again. I legitimately had real tears of joy on some of the rides. It’s never too late!

While everyone is raving about their trendy nonstick pans, I’m here to bring the spotlight back to cast iron cookware. There’s a huge stigma around how hard it is to take care of cast irons, but it’s really not bad! You just gotta keep using it, and over time, it basically becomes nonstick. This article has sent off a tangent, and now I am a proud owner of a well-seasoned cast iron pan and griddle.

Antique shops have a special place in my heart because it reminds me of my childhood road trips. When I was little, I always thought antique shops were just useless junk. As I grew older, I’ve learned to appreciate the “junk” a bit more. Browsing through the aisles, they kind of feel like a time machine. My top things to look out for are vintage cameras, dutch ovens, and vintage porcelain.
