Double-cleansing has done my skin wonders this past year. I use to break out a lot. Previously, I've rec'd my go-to oil cleanser, Banila's Clean It Zero. Meanwhile, I was still going through a few water-based cleansers. After almost a year, I've found it. Skinfood's Egg White foam puts in work. I really like that the foam makes you feel like it's physically cleaning my face. It has one job and it does it well without dehydrating my skin. No scent is also a big plus :)

Okay, so if you haven’t heard of double-cleansing and you want to take better care of your skin, I highly recommend reading up on it. It’s essential the idea of first cleansing your skin with an oil cleanser to pick up any oil-based dirt off your face, then following up with a water-based oil to remove whatever is left. Ever since I started this ritual, ya boy has been glowin’. I’ve tried a few oil-based cleansers, but this one is my go-to because it gets the job done without making my face feel weird, and leaves it well hydrated. And I think the reviews speak for itself since it can be used on any skin type.

SISH Beauty In-Shower Facial Treatment A new recommendation, but I'm loving how lightly exfoliating, deeply cleansing, and not stripping it is. It's a solid product, and it's not an everyday thing, but I can't scrub everyday anyways. It's vegan, gluten free, cruelty free, pregnancy safe and does not contain any harmful chemicals, parabens, or aluminum compounds. Eau Thermale Avène Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser If I'm wearing more face makeup or a heavier eye look and I need to get it all off without ripping a layer of skin off in the process, this is the stuff. Best removed with a warm washcloth and some steam, in my opinion. Bioderma Sensibio H2O Yeah yeah, sometimes fancy water is worth it, and I think this is one of those times. It's fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and paraben-free, and doesn't make my skin more red. Best for light makeup or no makeup days when I don't want to wash with soap. Skinfix Barrier+ Foaming Oil Hydrating Cleanser In the shower, feeling like I need a good bubbly wash, I go for this Skinfix soaper. It's milky, foams, and doesn't leave the skin feeling stripped post-cleanse.

this seems to work better than any other routine i’ve tried in the past. i use one cleanser with mineral water from jeju island to clear out my sebaceous filaments (face shampoo) and another one with collagen to keep my face soft and moisturized (face conditioner). disclaimer: i have big pores that get clogged easily, combination skin, no acne issues, and a rosy irish complexion. idk i just listen to my body's needs and just try shit.

While everyone is raving about their trendy nonstick pans, I’m here to bring the spotlight back to cast iron cookware. There’s a huge stigma around how hard it is to take care of cast irons, but it’s really not bad! You just gotta keep using it, and over time, it basically becomes nonstick. This article has sent off a tangent, and now I am a proud owner of a well-seasoned cast iron pan and griddle.

I’ve never been to Disney as a kid and as I grew older I always felt like I was too old for it. I spontaneously tagged along with my family the day before they left and I think that was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m a huge fan of Star Wars and Avatar, and even as an adult I think I had the best week of my life and I felt like a kid again. I legitimately had real tears of joy on some of the rides. It’s never too late!

Antique shops have a special place in my heart because it reminds me of my childhood road trips. When I was little, I always thought antique shops were just useless junk. As I grew older, I’ve learned to appreciate the “junk” a bit more. Browsing through the aisles, they kind of feel like a time machine. My top things to look out for are vintage cameras, dutch ovens, and vintage porcelain.
