Yes itā€™s true, Iā€™m a Star Wars Prequels sympathizer. Cry about it. You are a midwit or probably too old to get it if you hate on them. Natalie Portman is great in them, and Hayden Christensen is not a bad actor, Anakin just has aspergers. I donā€™t cosign the Disney stuff.

1. Bridge to Terabithia (2007) - I wanted to have my own little fantasy world down by the creek so bad. also I blame zooey deschanel in this movie for why I have a type 2. Star Wars Ep. III (2005) - bad dialogue be damned this movie goes so hard. clone troopers are cool and the Mustafar scene is incredible. 3. Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000) - I canā€™t believe (yes I can) that Disney retconned an already established Buzz Lightyear canon when they claimed Lightyear (2022) as the first Buzz Lightyear origin story. canonically this movie also existed in the Toy Story universe and is what the buzz action figure was based on. anyway itā€™s a super fun lil space adventure with some jokes that still hit. 4. The Brainiacs.com (2000) - this is the kinda late 90s early 2000s kids rule parents drool type media that needs to come back. we need more kids making rube goldberg machines and becoming smart toy entrepreneurs out of their bedrooms

Is it genetic or from poor choices? Who knows! Anyway, after lots of pondering: Jack Frost- there was a time that I watched this on repeat by myself in the basement and would weep the whole way through (this is diagnostic) Aladdin- I thought both Jasmine and Jafar were hot (I refuse to be embarrassed by this) Chocolat- oh how I wanted to LIVE in this film.Ā Ā I also went through a big Johnny Depp obsession (controversial) Sixth Sense- I had a crush on the kid, loved the twist, also ruined the surprise for my entire extended family As a teenager I was obsessed with Requiem for a Dream.Ā Ā Again, diagnostic.

Building lore is crucial in this day and age. Sometimes not getting your picture taken at the function is ok. Refrain from posting banalities on your story when possible. Exercise deconstructive maximalism. Being an artist rather than an ā€œArtistā€ is back, if you catch my drift.

DRES is a supergroup made up of Damon Rush (damon r. on Spotify) and Extra Small. Theyā€™re currently in Seoul working on an electronic recordā€”self-described as gangstalking/boarding school musicā€”and, of course, building lore. Their drip is effortless and unique. Jeremy Scott Adidas, leather, and anime silhouettes. You should collect their singles ā€œPick6ā€ and "Blackbird.ā€

The long canon of ā€œalternativeā€ lifestyles persists. Vibe expatriates. Downtown-core-core. Group chat as supergroup. Post-finpunk. Coffee & cig. Nicely tailored or altered clothing. Chelsea Hotel-core. Siestas. The Sun Also Rises is my fav book-core. Somewhere between Dada and vaporwave but still grunge. Digital folk art and hypermodern poetry. Making your living as a neo-cypherpunk bohemian post-dilettante freelancer.
