I had never tried brussel sprouts until early 2020. I cannot stop eating brussel sprouts. I cut em up an wash em an toss em in a pan with some oil then toss on some salt nā pep nā garlic pow nā sometimes paprika. I cook them until theyāre burnt on the outside but still crunchy on the inside. Never buy them frozen. Never boil. Never steam. Brussel sprouts.

honorable mention to brussels sproutsā everyone used to be on the same page about them being gross then all of the sudden people decided they were yummy? what's that all about. they are still gross. also everyone always spells it without the s on menus (brussel sprouts) and it bothers me. beets are also really bad

Butternut Squash the vegetable you are!!!! I grew so many last year and have found so many versatile recipes. I love her.
Close seconds: broccoli (ngl almost in every meal), GARLIC!!!, asparagus, mushrooms.
I WILL NOT STAND FOR BEET HATE!
Worst: not to be a child butā¦ Brussels sprouts. Canāt get down with it.

The best place on Earth. Drive the Old King's Highway from the bridge to Orleans. Drink a scorpion bowl at Double Dragon, the only Chinese place with a waterfront deck. Stare at the Atlantic until you lose yourself. Drink $3 pints at the Quarterdeck, start a fight, get kicked out, and walk to the 19th Hole. Watch the college kids play baseball under the lights in the summertime. Bike among the old homes and imagine the colonial 1750's. Catch a sunfish and throw it back in.
