I'm pretty obsessed with any adaptogenic beverage. Something with reishi, lion's mane, ashwagandha, gaba, L-tryptophan, or L-theanine for instance. Something you find in Erewhon and think "This will fix me." But I really cannot get enough of Kin. They're small cans of sparkling elixirs that make you feel something. Bella Hadid pedals them which was also an initial draw. I now invest in the giant glass bottles of higher potency Kin-extract. I mix them with La Croix before bed instead of taking an Ambien.

I was following snakeroot apothecary on IG for awhile and I saw they had a shipment of their Popular as Fu*k tincture explode from the heat in a truck while being shipped through the desert so they were offering a discount for restocking the lost supply which made me go "hmm let me try this" and wow I love this social anxiety potion that is made from all these herbalist ingredients that make your heart open like a butterfly from a cocoon and makes you feel like you can take on the world. I take a few drops of this before I podcast, do a live event, give a natal chart reading, or go socializing. Is it placebo? Is it magic? Babe I don't care either way cuz it works! The ritual of taking the drops makes me feel unstoppable.

This kratom new brew stuff is so crazy and the most American capitalist thing ever, repackaged aestheticized synthetic opioid😍 luckily I was warned about KRATOM bc I use Reddit for everything but ... the documentary about this will go crazy. its giving big pharma but in a consumer/spiritual/trendy/hipster millennial way☮️

This is my favorite podcast (but it is technically a radio show). I am a spotify user and have apple music just to hear this show. Hosted by Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig and painter Jake Longstreth.
Some of their favorite topics are corporate food history (guests like CEO of Dunkin), 1970s rock music (huge Dead heads), and comparing the top 5 songs today with the top 5 from a year in another era (50s-current day).
This show is a joy and a comfort and one of the only things holding me down sometimes.
