Wim Wenders is one of my all time favorite directors, and this is my favorite work of his. I was gifted a copy of this by my dad when I was 14, and it changed my life. I always come back to it when I'm feeling lost, or when I'm at a turning point in my life. I feel like it always teaches me something new about humanity, and gives me a better perspective on life and existentialism as a whole.
It also has the ever fantastic Peter Falk in a very special supporting role, and a cameo by a young Nick Cave (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds), and Rowland S Howard (Crime and the City Solution).
