I love education and taking classes, but I didn’t graduate college. One day I’ll probably go back to school when I know what I want to study, but the expectation to graduate from college in the 4ish years after high school didn’t make sense for me. If it doesn’t feel right for you, do something else that does.

Took me 8 years and 4 schools to finish my degree, but when I finished it was because I wanted to. There is so much pressure to live life a certain way but it is ok to do things at your own pace in your own way. Life is not a checklist. I am so proud to have finished school because I did it in the most fulfilling way for me.

i loved & miss university, it really helped me figure out some things i was passionate about, have some cool experiences & learn a lot about myself, plus i just love learning and being in school in general (i always say if i was rich enough to not work i'd spend all my money getting degrees for fun), but that being said.... i no longer work in said field nor do i have any interest to at all lol
i feel like if you're going to go to college you need to be sure of your field and the possibilities that come from it, or at the very least, go into something broadly applicable and then do as many things as you can (related clubs, volunteering, competitions, whatever) that allow you to explore the field while there. i got a broad degree (comms) but then made the mistake of not exploring enough avenues while in school and wound up locked into one that i didn't like post-grad. tried to leverage my degree to break into fields i'd enjoy more, but with my focused background, it's unfortunately not enough.

4 years of classes finally paid off!! definitely a time in my life that i will miss, but i’m also so proud of myself for completing my degree. finding a job is another story…

Did you know most animal shelters let you come in and volunteer to walk their dogs? Most of the time, the dogs just sit in their cages and don’t get walked, so I reccomend doing that for a pup every once in a while.

It’s boys wearing bikinis. My new word for the summer. I’m not sure if I made this word up but if I did, let it be known perfectly imperfect. After I got top surgery I felt a bit awkward going to beaches that weren’t mostly queer, so I got a bikini top and it’s kind of awesome.
