One of the greatest, and most interesting actresses of recent times. Dalle was street scouted in the 80s to audition for the lead of Betty Blue, and impressed the director so much with her raw talent that she ended up playing Betty.
I recommend her performances in Betty Blue, Night on Earth, and Trouble Every Day. All vastly different, but she's incredibly compelling in all three. There's a rawness and realness to everything she does, and she's never afraid to go to the darkest, craziest, and ugliest places. Also, her interviews are wild (most can be found for free on YouTube or on the Criterion Channel).
