Really truly baffled/annoyed at the lack of attention this show is getting.. everyone should be talking about this. Could be triggering to some, so read up and tread lightly if you think itd hit too hard. But I really was blown away at the bravery of Richard Gadd (who wrote this based on his own experience/life and played himself/a character of himself…!!) and was crying sooo bad at the last two episodes … so utterly devastating, confusing, a shock to the system, but to me that definitely falls into the category of good TV. Especially these days where I feel Netflix shows are .. what you’d expect Netflix shows to be. So fucking good 😭😭😭😭😭

It can drain your energy and it is depressing at times. But don't let that stop you from watching good TV! The writing is so good and the characters are flawed and well developed. Maybe just watch an episode of pepper pig after, that always helps. I'm a firm believer in viewing art that makes you uncomfortable. By sitting in the uncomfieness, you allow yourself to open up to more ideas. (i recommend checking out those trigger warnings tho - just in case)

Summer camp island

*this is slightly reactionary but* Witch camp counselors, Monsters that was to Harvard, and growing up and learning your place in the world… This beautiful show is a godsend. It was wrongfully taken off HBOmax last year meaning I was unable to watch it. I have just discovered it is FULLY available on the Cartoon Network app. i screamed. It just got nominated for a GLAAD award and i hope it wins because this show has taught me (a 24 year old) so much and brought me so much calm and joy to an anxiety ridden brain
