Nothing says "happy birthday" quite like getting shitfaced off hot sake at a hibachi table with your loved ones. You got the chef right in front of you doing their thing, they're making the onion slice volcano, flinging diced zucchini so you can catch it in one gulp, clinging and clanging their spatulas, spinning and juggling eggs. It's absolute pandemonium as they prepare everyone's meals (I got the filet mignon and scallop combination). And then the staff will pull up with gongs behind you and sing before bestowing upon you mochi ice cream with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a candle. Getting seated at a table with other strangers (95% chance they're also celebrating a birthday) makes it even better and adds to the already chaotic good energy
It was a great 28th birthday yesterday :)
