Between the Heaves of Storm -
The Eyes around - had wrung them dry -

I'm on a foreign planet
So forgive me if I don't know how to react
The greens, pinks and blues
Where completely different hues
Back where I was at
We didn't tie babes to porches
And slap them when they don't play copycat
It's heavy here
It feels like my heart is in my knees when I walk around
But the wind washes all that away
Like it or not, this is where I'm supposed to stay
One step closer to heaven

As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly & clearly; and listen to others, even the dull & ignorant; they too have their story.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become bitter or vain; for always there will be greater & lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
