One of my favorite artists since I found him. His music is like bass boosted goth monster truck horror movie vibes. He's usually hissing or whispering on beats. His lyrics can be really cryptic as well. So the combination of those two things make it that you may never know what he's actually saying in his songs. He has so many mixtapes and albums it's so unhinged. He has a music video called Egoist that was edited by the SEMATARY crew so you know the whole video is edited in 200+ definition mode and takes place deep in the woods. He's from Canada and he's pretty active on instagram and sometimes his stories are really concerning (drug addiction, mental health etc.) but I root for him and I love his art so much.

E is one of those albums I find myself revisiting way more than I would have thought. Drain Gang artist Ecco2k blesses us with a beautiful atmospheric journey, with standouts like Peroxide and Calcium, but don't stop there. The whole album flows beautifully and is best experienced wholly. Throw on some noise cancellers and escape into the wild & weird journey that is E.

TME is Iglooghost’s most conventional album and it still makes me fucking crazy – like I’m freebasing nicotine and cocaine at the same time, while on one of those rollercoasters that drops at a 90-degree angle. Part of that disorienting feeling, this time around, comes from textures and sounds I didn’t expect: post-punk drums on “Coral Mimic”; the electro beat on “Nemat0de”. I’m sick to death of “genreless” music; Tidal Memory Exo was a genre unto itself.

black midi's frontman blazes his own path with this new single, a feverish blend of salsa, brazilian pop music, cabaret singing, and deconstruction of machismo. couple his proggish musical sensibilities and out-of-this-world musical talent with an uncannily surreal video that will speak tongues to anyone with synesthesia, and you've got a match made in heaven, hell, or the dank shadows of brothels past. also his moves are truly inspiring.

Recently I got a boring job. A service job. I work at Joe & The Juice in the financial district. I charged someone 8$ today for two bottled waters. Criminal, federal. Working at Joe & The Juice as a juicer has really -drained me. I recommend bringing your Nintendo Switch to work with you and after you get off work and you're on the train home, play some good ol' classic Super Monkey Ball. Feels so good.

So I have a pretty small room in Chinatown. I live in a 5 bedroom apartment with a Chinese family. The youngest child (3 or 4 idk) will occasionally growl/yell for minutes on end. The growling fits put me in a delirium. To help clear my mind today I walked around the neighborhood without my phone and it was real good. There's a sort of fresh rainy feel in the air today in NYC. If you can you should walk outside into your neighborhood with nothing in your pockets and breathe in that air. Clear your head baby.
