To be fair, I’ve only seen it once, but I’m also a non-crier at movies and this one GOT ME!!!! It made me feel the most horrible, chilling sadness. I saw it by myself in the theater and sobbed in the bathroom after. Wowieeeeee

The memory of experiencing the Sunken Place in a dark theatre, surround sound, drunk of a hastily sucked down hurricane squiring will live in my mind forever. I had two dudes next to me cracking up cuz my rum softened legs couldn't keep me still so I was sinking at the same pace as Daniel Kaluuya in my own seat. Oh, and when the violin went CRAZY in the gardeners run scene and everyone in the theater started panicking like they were about to get run over by this blank faced running freak???? Peak. Oh and the collective triumph when the TSA pulled through, oh my GOD!! What an unmatched experience.
