Itâs knowing that its waiting for you downstairs. The crunch of turning the page. Finding your own best practices for folding it. Reading it in short moments through the day. Saving a piece for your bud. Keeping the stacks so your parents can use it as kindling. And then knowing you get to do it all over again.
It gives you a sense of whatâs going on, and helps put your mind in the physical place as opposed to the cursed online swamp.
And I like reading the internationals.
I donât know if itâs because Iâm in a different headspace when âabroadâ or just have more time, but itâs become part of my âritualâ when travelling.
if you canât think of something to gift someone that they may want/use, then youâre better off not giving them anything. no one wants more junk as a gift. flowers are also always nice cuz when theyâre not nice anymore you can toss it and not feel guilt.
