It seems there’s a big Deleuze craze happening for the past year or so. It’s cause he was right and the 2020’s are the most Deluezian decade yet.

unforfunately missing k is for Kant but you can find it on tik tok if you have it. great intro to Deleuze if you have an interest in philosophy at all. i just think its cool he has this alphabet series, reminds me of those memes which are like a celebrities “a-z” of their catchphrases which makes me laugh. not everyone’s cup of tea though. animal, desire and style are my favourites.

some very light reading this morning. (skimming the internet). deleuze’s conception of desire. very interesting. making me think about the concept of desire in a much more positive and productive way. something that is not just attributed to a lacking in life but more of a catalyst for taking action towards the things i actually want/desire.. anyone have thoughts? i’m very interested about this.

Adorno was 100% right about the occult but, as a practice literary or countercultural, hell, even to see human connection, to produce something, it’s cool! This lecture by Grant Morrison sums it up as a practice to experiment, fair warning, it is aggressively 2000s and fantastically weird, but the energy is palpable, wacky as some of the concepts see to be.

We are living in an era of culture that our children will not believe existed. The weed grey market is so strange and funny and I personally love these eye sores and I love how accessible and cheap weed has become throughout the city. We should all enjoy this while it lasts, it won’t be long till the city really crack down on these and we will all be paying 70 bucks for an eighth with taxes from some hipster in an Apple Store clone. Long live the weed bodegas.
