Not the TV series, which doesn't pull the relevant threads from the book very strongly, but the book. The book itself was written by Dick using the I Ching, which itself feels very similar to generative AI.

His Short stories are so delightful and nutritious. thinking about technology and its utility in a practical but also creative way. a great antidote to ai doomerism.

I know I'm not cool. That's why I appreciate the PI community for letting me play at being cool. I feel like a hipster pollywog with a protective froggie parent letting me explore the pond safely. Sure, at some point I'm likely to get snatched up as a seagull's breakfast, but I'll enjoy the pond while I can. Thanks.
