I liked finding out that this is a word/thing cuz I totally relate. I just love (going to or hosting) events (apartment housewarmings, dj sets, dinners, breakfasts, movie nights, whatever it may be..). if it's a thing that's happening and I'm with/inviting friends, it's An Event idc!

invited some girlfriends over to play a set for us and it was so sweet/wholesome! we always talk about wanting the feel of house parties again, intimate safe settings with close friends and ppl actually dancing <3 this provided that and more, can’t wait for the next one!

in an age where social interaction through merely every outlet is intentional, there is nothing more fun than orchestrating a curated social event where the hype around it transforms into something more!
last night my friend was talking to me about planning his next birthday around the theme of mario because his birthday falls onto march 10th (or mario day)! and it was the most fun i had in a while spitballing theming for games, foods, drinks, decor, etc…! the creative collaboration of it leading up to a certain date.
although something so small in reality it makes it seem like a modern day ball in my head! gives me something to look forward to :) plan a party!!!

By just having some time to myself to smoke a j alone and vibe in my room. Have not done this in years, didn’t smoke for a while either (classic reasons, anxiety etc) but it’s been fun to see myself as more grown up since I last did this. kind of feels like convening with a past self and being like - yes life is weird but that means that anything goes and that’s great, I’m having fun 🫶🤷♀️
