i actually go back to this whole album a little too often. the level of talent from every member of the band is wild. hard to believe this album is already 10 years old, but this is monica martin in her prime. slow motion is the true embodiment of this album, they were not afraid to push boundaries and say “fuck it, clarinet solo“ and i think that’s neat.
