one of my favorite things is when a friend sees an interesting bird and sends me a pic so i can identify them
its fun to test my ID skills but also it rlly means a lot to me that my friends think of me when they see birds (to be known is to be loved etc etc etc)

I feel like birding is becoming popular with a younger subset and for me itâs about connecting with whatâs around me and being delighted by simple, practical knowledge. my goal right now is to figure out which ones are serenading me when I go to work each morning! pictured are Eurasian collared doves I identified the other day đŠ

I love to identify birds when I am walking or traveling or just out in the world!!! It helps me make a habit of paying attention to ordinary beautiful things. Touch grass in app form one might say!!
