Carry-on, don’t check

I travel a lot and as a chronic ADHD overpacker whose instincts are to pack half my closet, I’ve made it a practice in the last year or so to not check a bag for trips shorter than a week. I think Tik Tok made me do it??? That said, the bag is essential, and *luxury* carry-on options are overrated and not practical. This weekender changed my life and has helped me to evolve into a meticulously organized packer. I leave the bottom empty if possible to pack anything I get while traveling; I put my toiletries, electronics, and purse inside the main pocket, and it balances perfectly on any roller. I think I get a week of my life back a year by not checking luggage and waiting for it.

A good weekender bag

A good duffel. a good duffel!! always feel like a chump dragging around a mini suitcase. Idk why but it’s just how it is. I got mine from Rains on sale and it has changed me forever. I recommend one with little pockets, handles, a strap for the shoulder, all of it. Spontaneity follows!

Water only skincare routine

No cleanser! No moisturizer or serums! Did I mention no cleanser? I read Skin Sobering and I am changed. My acne is definitely not worse and it seems to be even clearing up. My skin is definitely not dryer nor oilier than before. I feel freer and countercultural 😎
