if you're trying to get off Youtube (but still find value in people's work) this is for you... basically you get to decide exactly what sections of the site to hide/remove (i disabled autoplay, home page, recommendations and shorts -- anything algorithmically generated)! plus it makes you pay attention to WHO exactly you're subscribed to and what you want to cultivate in your media diet

I just saw a couple people reccing about using Instagram in the browser and thought of this handy free plugin.
It allows you to disable dozens of different social features, website specific, for Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, and more. Turn off reels or shorts or suggested videos. Disable adds, comments, the feed, etc.

idk when i was in high school they were one of the acceptable 'uniform shoes' so ive pretty much stuck to them since. my one concern is that the quality of doc martens has dropped pretty precipitously in even the last 5 years (same goes for solovair) so i don't know how smart an investment they are now. still i think doc-adjacent shoes are a pretty good closet staple
