I've never actually watched a Star Trek show, but I started this on a whim. It's perfect. Cute, campy, optimistic, and really shows the indomitable power of the human spirit. Obviously there are a few cringy episodes that haven't aged well, but overall shockingly progressive and very sweet. The best part is that it presents a world where ethics and technology work hand in hand. Sounds crazy I know.
