This shit rocks. I’ve never been one to allocate certain funds to certain areas of my life, but this tool has been a great way to start — and track — my spending. Only request is a feature to help me save towards certain purchase goals, so if you have a rec for that @ me :’-)

I was not raised the most financially literate however I’ve gotten very enthusiastic about personal budgeting apps and YNAB is fantastic for this the goal is to assign a dollar a job until you have 0 budget, it also connects directly to your bank account (most of them) and categorizes your purchases for you. I had no idea how much I spend on dining out and drinking out and it is… humbling to see the writing on the wall and do this at home. also makes it so easy to budget for retirement or investments or long term savjng

not to go all FINANCIAL HEAUX on u guys but i used to be clinically addicted to my Mint budgeting app until they merged into Intuit a few months ago and my entire sense of self and stability vanished overnight. i need to be able to split and view my monthly expenses by categories such as (but not limited to): Alcohol & Bars (wine and weed), Personal Care (do i have enough for a massage this month?), Gas & Fuel (am i driving too much, not BARTing enough?), Coffee (i def don't like this enough to be spending as much as i am), Misc. Items (candles, developing film, buying TJ Mac mugs for my friends). it brings me peace!!! Full View is the best replacement i've come across so far but still open to other options. i wish i knew even a single thing about coding or creating my own app bc i really think i have what it takes to disrupt and Glossify the online budgeting space.......
