might sound corny but comparison is indeed the thief of joy, setting goals definitely helps but just waking up each day and knowing you're alive is already such a privilege!! i do get it though, it feels like time goes by way too fast
All honesty I stole this from Jimothy Lacoste after watching his Fader piece in high school but it’s stuck ever since. Being able to frame anything that happens in the lens of ‘life is getting quite exciting’ does actually make it better. I know it treads on toxic positivity but it also looks for a better future so idk just a nice mantra
