Me too, been waiting quite a while. My father was a waist gunner in the 381st out of Ridgewell. He rarely spoke of his experiences, but I’ve been fascinated by B-17s since I was 5 years old. After watching episode 3 about Schweinfurt/Regensburg I have a much better understanding of the hell those crews went through on the missions. I heard an interesting comparison of MOTA and Memphis Belle the movie. Paraphrasing: “When I watched Memphis Belle I thought that I could do that if I had too. When I saw episode 3 of MOTA, I thought no way.” I have sooo much respect for those crews.

AUSTIN BUTLER 🤜🏼💥🤛🏻 CALLUM TURNER. It’s literally two of the most attractive men in the world starring opposite of each other. Anyways, the ending part of the Spielberg / Hanks trinity of WW2 shows: Band of Brothers, The Pacific, and then this. If you like semi-historically accurate movies and wish they were longer, you’ll love this 9(?) part series. Turns out it’s based on real people too! So it feels sort of educational! Highly recommend. Binge it on Apple TV, even if it’s just to drool over the lead duo.
