thank god for this beautiful liquid gold… i am kind of lazy and cannot bother with an 8 step skincare regimen so its this, and an oil cleanser (preferably from a japanese brand) and a regular gentle cleanser (mine is la roche) and a moisturizer (cerave) please do not come for me!

dunno if it counts but i use it probably the most in my skincare (my routine sucks though) as a quick cleanse/refresh as well as a makeup remover !! would actually die without her… thanks to my uncles gf for introducing it to me when i was experimenting with makeup in my teen years…

i keep hearing this on tiktok from dermatologists and others and have to cosign as a lazy person who does not do much for her skin (mine is oily for reference). tbh it is in amazing shape and i admittedly do very little. in the morning i wash (avene cleanance), moisturize (avene hydrance - light + the laneige lip sleep mask but i use it when i wake up as well), and apply spf (elta md). at night i consider myself accomplished if i do anything at all tbh. i often sleep in my makeup from the day. if i do anything, i will just remove my makeup (lancome), tone (cosrx but likely switching to laneige soon), and moisturize (laneige water bank cream and lip sleep mask). something important that i learned on reddit last year is to always moisturize while your skin is wet. i am not rly particular about the specifics of this so if my face is still wet after washing i will just use that, otherwise i apply an essence (i use the one from philosophy). anyway according to me, all u have to really do every day is cleanse, moisturize, and protect, but im truly not an authority on this so if u have a dermatologist or similar source listen to them!!

Makeup remover - byoma melting balm cleanser - cerave hydrating cleanser Moisturiser - Nivea creme lazy day - bioderma sensibio H2O I used to be a full skincare girly, and then my skin got really bad and I read a lot about the skincare industry and how insidious and awful it is. Now I essentially just use 4 things. A cleanser, I use cerave hydrating cleanser. And a moisturiser, in my opinion the more simple the better. My favourite is the embryolisse lait creme, but it’s a lil spenny so I mostly use Nivea soft, which I find to be really similar and costs like £2. the third thing is an oil based cleansing balm for makeup removal. atm I use Bioma, which is the affordable replacement for the very expensive Clinique cleansing balm. I also use an spf (but controversially only when it’s sunny as I live in the U.K. and we have a much bigger vitamin d deficiency problem than we do a skin damage one). Unfortunately I’ve never found a face suncream that isn’t expensive, so atm I use laroche possay, but it lasts me ages cause there isn’t much sun here. for ease and laziness I also use bioderma micellar water for days when Im too tired to wash my face or I’m taking off makeup on the go. I have mostly dry/combo and a little sensitive skin, but this routine will work for any skin type (might need a lighter moisturiser if oily). In the U.K. to but this entire routine with full size bottles would cost around £37, and my skin is infinitely better than it was when I was using elaborate and expensive skin care routines!
