Currently showing @ IFC and Alamo drafthouse and it’s a must-see. I’ve been thinking about nothing but this movie for the past three days. So well done, so beautiful, so real. I felt sooo seen and i want all my friends to see this and talk about it!!!!!

the sweet east (2023)

I’ve seen this movie twice in theaters (both times @ IFC, one was a q&a) and I wish I could watch it over and over again. Talia Ryder is an absolute force and the whole ensemble cast is a treat. My fave film of 2023. I never shut up about this btw

POOR THINGS (2023)

Didn't think I was going to find a movie I liked more than Godzilla Minus One (which was my favorite of last year before this) but Poor Things is an absolute vision and perfectly executed on all fronts - if it's still playing in a theater near you don't miss it.
