When you're in a house for a little while, and you step out for a spell, pick a flower
Put in in a heavy stack that you know shan't be deserved for a little while
Someday they'll find it after you're gone and maybe think of you, maybe not, but at least they will think "Oh—what a pretty flower!"

Sometimes you feel wistful and bored but then you look at the flowers you bought that are sitting on your desk and it cheers you up and I think that’s really lovely. I bought pink carnations and pink tulips :)

For someone who is sentimental in every bit of tangible thing they acquire, drying flowers as soon as they start wilting was my only option for preserving my appreciation for the gift.
It‘s beautiful to see something that thrived before still exist as beautifully even after their time of life.
