New method for controlling mania: work hard, play harder

Did this when I was doing graphic design remotely (I'm now in the arts scene doing studio-based work so... this doesn't pan out anymore). I would give my managers a bunch of deadlines that were realistic for my workload, but I knew I could get away with some buffer time, then I would usually spend a day or two finishing up everything to completion and sending them in during my stipulated deadlines one by one. This allowed for me to catch extra sleep and also do other design work (which was technically work but for myself). The wonders of remote working!

They look good, save floor space, are modular, high quality, and will last a lifetime. You can switch out any of the shelves for a different size, drawers, or even a small desk. The process of measuring your space and having a 1:1 conversation with a planner feels very fancy. I'm looking forward to carrying these shelves with me as I get older.
