there’s a rhythm to it and there’s a meta the likes of which have maybe never been brought to the great game of eggs and nests prior to this. we have fans. ava is winning more and more lately and as much as i’m trying to get her back i’ll admit i’m proud of her for her wins because they’re usually really impressive. often i’ll forget it’s my turn and remember a day later, which somehow always feels like falling asleep during a long car ride at night as a kid and waking up just as your parents pull into the driveway so you walk into the house all groggy. it’s my turn in mancala now
