The absolute pinnacle of comfort TV, this show has saved my faith in humanity.
Itβs funny, sincere as can be and truly a masterclass in living, laughing, loving.
Almost done watching it for the first time and I truly believe this show should be considered up there with the best of the best. So pure and wholesome in a way that could only be done pre-9/11 tbh. Not a drop of irony. Just beautiful slice of life stories with a lil magical realist twist packed with references to philosophy and film but never in a way that feels out of place. Like if no one ever died in Twin Peaks. Also executive produced by David Chase! It has it all! Tears are frequently shed from the pure beauty! Wow!
