very much raw dogging the world, but it’s nice to just tap into the sounds of nature and the life around you. Also, it helps to just think and process things without added stimulations

its really nice to just go walking while listening to some comfy playlist or a playlist curated just for these moments. I really like to listen comfy songs in a playlist made especially for walking in a park (that’s what I do). if you can go to a park too, I guarantee you will be happy. plus, that’s a type of exercise that doctors keep tellling us about… improves your health but it’s less torturing

I like the neuroplastic/wholesome/health recs in these letters, and I remember this specific advice from an earlier one and am going to echo it. Walking is really it. People love lifting and breaking sweats but frankly walking 8,000 steps a day (10 tbh) is more important for long-term health. By a hair… I won’t make any crazy claims like walking can cure depression. But…. if you eat right, breathe through your nose, get some sleep and sun and have something you want to do every day, and have a couple of bucks to your name and some friends, it might. More realistically, even when things could improve at least you get to go on a nice long walk.

library card is <free> and they got most everything you could want. u can stream with the Kanopy app but i like walking to my local branch a couple times a week to get 2 to 3 DVDs in person. get a good walk in, smell some flowers, look at clouds, free movies, it’s nice :) for example i just got the batman movie with jack nicholson and then the entire Neon Genesis Evangeliom series!
