on long subway rides

hear me out! now the subway can't be too crowded and you can't be rushed for time. but when you have a seat (ideally with no neighbors) and a good playlist it can be extremely relaxing to just sit back and relax, watching a never ending stream of strangers enter and leave the train. paired with the gentle and consistent movement of the subway car moving along it all can feel extremely meditative.

do not treat dates seriously

use it as an opportunity to meet new people, make friends, basically behave naturally and don’t create some type of fake persona to impress another person if there is a spark than go for it, but it is not that serious, just become friends with them lol
