After Dark - Haruki Murakami

One of my fav books. In Tokyo, after dark, a young girl wanders around experiencing city life. It‘s split up into hours of the night and you can read in real time if you’re dedicated enough. The author loves referencing pop culture too, If you’re into that i’d definitely check it out

The Loneliness of the long distance runner

There's an honesty you can get out of a child's perspective that allows a writer to shine a light on what life is like if you ignore all the fluff that is fun to read here add to it a genuinely entertaining narrator giving a similar self-confidence and wit to colden hollfield and it's quite a treat
