usually you get reciprocal access to 1000s of other museums, historic sites, gardens etc across the country!! very cool! not to even mention free/lower price for openings, exhibitions, and parties that are hosted by the museum.
bonus points for headphones. double bonus points if its a museum you’ve been to a few times. triple bonus points if you use your old student ID to get a free ticket.
i love checking up on my favorite works like they’re my good friends. i curate the music for museum trip and i get to look at the other museum goers like they’re a part of the museum (because they are!)
i just always get so excited by how much there is to learn and see like i now work in a museum and i’m always getting distracted by reading everything - highly recommend visiting your local museum especially if it’s free
