coming across this recipe damn near changed my life, so good and simple and easy to make
in a saucepan over medium low whisk together 1/3 cup of heavy cream with 8g of dutch processed cocoa powder, 16g of sugar, a piece of 85% dark chocolate (like 10g) and a pinch of salt. once that’s all good and combined add in 200g of whole milk, whisk that together, and serve hot!
if you’re feeling fancy, top with whipped cream and some microplaned dark chocolate

ingredients:
* an amount of oat milk (how much do you want?)
* some cream/half & half, but less than the first milk (for t h i c k)
* a few big spoonfuls of dutch-processed cocoa powder (best)
* honey
heat milks on the stove until near to boiling and then add cocoa and squeeze honey into the pot for about 3 mississippis, ending with whatever flourish feels right. stir until combined and enjoy!
it is rich. it is unexpected, nuanced, and superior.

I am a Carnation HC mix fan like everyone else HOWEVER there is something so pleasant on a miserable cold wet day about warming up the milk and cocoa powder and brown sugar on your stovetop in a cute little pot :) (also I like to use my handheld frother right before serving/enjoying)

i like to microplane some of the blanxart bar chocolate into whole milk in a small sauce pot. i put mini marshmallows in my cup and pour the hc over so they clump together. And i use a spoon so it’s kind of like a marshmallow soup. Literally waiting for bed time so i can have my allotment today

and delicious! esp when roasted, i linked an easy recipe :)

I filed a complaint with a bunch of receipts to my city's rent board last month after my landlord notified me of another increase, and turns out she was in violation of increasing rent within 12 months following a previous rent increase
The city just told my landlord to reimburse me the excess rent, and my current rent must remain in place until next March for her to be in compliance (she wanted to raise it another 10% in October lol)
