The dialogue was written from interviews conducted by the creators with real New Yorkers in the 90's, it's so natural and authentic. Like Freaks and Geeks, such a shame we only ever got one season.
my ex situationship put me into this mtv series called downtown and it is the only good thing that came out of that. It only has one season (13 episodes) and you can find it in youtube. It follows the lives of a bunch of teens/young adults that live in NY , the premise is simple but the vibes are inmaculate. 10/10
