I’d never seen it and season 2 just ended so thought I’d jump on it. Jared Harris and Lee Pace are a joy to watch. It definitely benefits from how strong the source materiel is (haven’t read it myself but I’ve been told it’s one of the best science fiction series).

OK. The acting is very uneven. Lee Pace and Jared Harris are great, though. What hooked me on this show is the world building. The whole concept of Empire (a person & a place) is fascinating. I'll be back for season two.

Lee Pace as an awkward pie maker who can bring people back from the dead for a minute so he can solve their murders is the show premise you never knew you needed.
Also the over-the-top set dressing and tv-trope settings that break said tropes is SO GOOD. Not to mention stellar guest stars.

Get and keep a copy of a movie on a hard drive or Blu-ray somewhere. If you “purchase” movies through sites like Amazon Prime or Apple TV/iTunes (RIP) you’re merely licensing it and they can take away your access at any time for whatever reason they want.
I don’t advocate pirating movie content you don’t already own, but if you own a copy of a movie or show, go ahead and download a digital copy to back it up somewhere so they can’t take it away from you.
