i always forget about toenails until they get so long i canā€™t stand it and then cutting them feels amazing and the toenail clippings are big and satisfying crescents

I'm bad at keeping track of the cyclical tasks like cutting your nails so I always cut them really short and then let them grow out for weeks until I cut them again. But the transition from long nails to very short is so so satisfying to me. My hands feel so functional and like my own. I like typing without feeling my nails. Being able to do things with my hands without subconsciously worrying / being aware of my nails. It's just a beautiful feeling, childishly joyful in some type of way.

I recently just integrated this into my nightly routine and as someone who has very dry cuticles her whole life this actually does WONDERS let me tell you. I rub aquaphor on my cuticles before bed and I wake up the next morning with my nails looking gorgeous!!!! #nailcare #wow #iloveaquaphor

Nothing annoys me more about the American culture than the lack of enthusiasm. If I invite you to go somewhere and your answer is ā€œsureā€ or ā€œwhy notā€, Iā€™m taking it back. I do not wanna be surrounded by indifferent people. Itā€™s unworthy.

When I was a kid, I had a homework assignment that asked me what my biggest dream was, and I wrote, 'to spend a whole day on the internet.' That didnā€™t age well for obvious reasons, but here, that feeling was rekindled. In that spirit, hereā€™s my favorite picture of pre teen me, chasing for enlightenment onlineā€¦. she wouldā€™ve loved pi.fyi
